A full body cleanse can really help extend your life and ultimately if done on a regular basis, can keep you from contracting and developing some very serious diseases including some forms of cancer and degenerative diseases. There is no one exact and proper way to do a body cleanse, so in this article I will detail some overall guidelines, tips, and product recommendations that you can use to help formulate your own colon and body cleanse regimen that you would feel comfortable with because there are a lot of great colon cleansing products out there.

There are too many to choose from frankly, but generally anything that has a reputable or organic source is the best way to go. A lot of Acai based cleansing programs can work very well if done alongside proper juicing and dietary habits. Be sure that you check that whatever product you decide on to try or use regularly that it contains nothing artificial and that there is fiber in the product, as that along with a fiber rich diet can really help move waste stuck in the colon through you.
Also be sure to use cleansing products that include essential fatty acids and antioxidants as this will help maintain your body during the toxin removal thus making the process more efficient and easier on your body. Acai cleansing programs happen to cover both those angels as the product naturally contains healthy fatty acids along with a wide variety of antioxidant compounds.
Juicing can be an Effective Cleansing Agent.
Juicing is fantastic for a many reasons, but in regards to a cleanse, juicing is a great way to effectively get all your nutrients needed so that you can go on a juice fast for 3 to 4 days not eat any solid food. Doing this allows for more efficient body cleanses and allows it to heal itself more effectively and faster as a result of not having to deal with or break down any solid food for a while. The lack of fiber in the juice also allows for very strong infusion of nutrients and minerals into the bloodstream rather quickly, thus allowing for your body to nourish and heal itself.
If you’re new to juice fasting I don’t recommend doing it more then 3 to 4 days as outlined above. If possible, only use fresh juice, or juice that you have, made through your own juicer, as this juice contains naturally occurring and live enzymes, these allow the actual nutrients to be absorbed into your system instead of simply being passed through your system through your waste. Always buy organic produce and be sure to wash it thoroughly. A simple and great starter cleanse recipe would consist of apples, grapes (low amounts to reduce sugar), and carrots, beets and cucumbers.
Smoothies Can Also be used for Cleansing.
If you do not have a juicer, but you do own a blender, you can make some fresh organic smoothies to help with a colon body cleanse. As stated above, only use organic produce, and wash your produce with an appropriate veggie wash if able. I recommend using a high powered blender like the vitamix or blendtec total blender if you’re going to do this, as these two brands/models are the only type that can really break down the fibrous material of veggies and fruits to an acceptable and most importantly absorbable level and consistency. The reason smoothies are great for cleansing is not only do they contain vast amounts of vitamins, nutrients, and minerals; they contain very high levels of fiber which is the chief cleanser in this option.
I recommend creating what has come to be known as the “green smoothie”. These are fantastic smoothies that not only contain fresh fruit but also contain leafy green like spinage, kale, and chard, which will benefit your body cleanse detox and allow you to get your daily greens and benefit from the nutrients and very high levels of fiber, but the fruits in the smoothie will mask the taste of the greens and veggies which will make things a lot more tasty to be sure.
